Each year CAP reaches nearly 30,000 low-income families through services that support child development and education, health and nutrition, household stability, and public safety and violence prevention to help them not only meet their essential daily needs, but to work toward a brighter future of long term financial self-sufficiency.

The Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County champions the achievement of long-term self sufficiency for individuals and families through services and advocacy targeting the elimination of poverty.

CAP will be the lead self-sufficiency agency in the region through personal empowerment, coordination and integration of social services, and public advocacy resulting in a measurable improvement in the quality of life for the community.
