Senior Centers
Overview
Funded by the Lancaster County Office of Aging, CAP's Senior Centers provide breakfast and a daily hot lunch, as well as recreational and social activities for participants in Lancaster City and Columbia. In addition, the program offers information/referral services, health screenings, transportation services and much more. Participants must be 60 years of age or older and there is no cost to participate. The centers provide transportation for those unable to drive.

- Volunteers - All participants in senior center activities are encouraged to volunteer their time in some way to help with the program. The centers recognize their volunteers during Volunteer Recognition Day activities that include gifts, trip incentives, and recognition for their efforts throughout the year.
In addition, the group involves itself in fundraising projects. Proceeds are reinvested in the Senior Center program.
Program Qualifications
Participants must be 60 years of age or older. There is no cost and no income requirement to participate.
