CAP’s Senior Centers connect older adults to support services, socialization and recreation in Lancaster City and Columbia. The centers provide a great way to help seniors stay connected to their community, socialize with peers, participate in trips to local areas of interest and enjoy a nutritious breakfast and hot lunch daily. Senior Center programming includes health screenings, transportation information and referrals to other services available in the community. Eligible participants are at least 60 years old and transportation is provided to the Senior Center site.  There is no cost to participate!

  • Volunteer Opportunities - All participants in senior center activities are encouraged to volunteer their time in some way to help with the program. The centers recognize their volunteers with gifts, trip incentives, and recognition for their efforts throughout the year.

The group also organizes fundraising projects and proceeds are reinvested in the Senior Center program.
