The Community Action Program of Lancaster County has the following position open. Applications will be taken until a suitable candidate is selected.
Family Center
Family Development Specialist
Associates Degree in Human Services, Early Childhood, or related field OR High School Diploma or G.E.D. and two years combined work experience related to families in social services, health services, or related outreach work.
Requirements:
| Must provide satisfactory Pennsylvania Act 33 and Act 34 clearances. |
| Must provide a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License. |
| Must provide proof of current auto insurance and have full time use of a vehicle. |
| Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. |
| Must be available at work non-traditional hours and or attend out of town meetings/trainings as necessary. |
| Must be able to communicate with persons of various socio-economic backgrounds. |
| Maintains confidentiality regarding program families. |
